Ørsted has signed a contract with Bladt Industries to supply the Hornsea Two Offshore Wind Farm with 135 transition pieces. The delivery of the 135 transition pieces will take place from mid-2020 to mid-2021.
The project is located approximately 89km off the Yorkshire coast. When completed, it will be able to meet the electricity needs of over 1.4 million UK homes per year, making a significant difference to the UK’s carbon
emissions.
It is also being delivered at the lowest cost ever seen for offshore wind in the UK, delivering best value for UK electricity bill payers.
