Experienced Environmental Compliance Specialist (Aalborg/Lindø)

Specifically, we need you who want a job with a focus on ensuring that Bladt Industries complies with environmental legislation in all industrial processes and activities. You will be the primary anchor person in relation to authority dialogue, environmental applications and follow-ups on environmental approvals in connection with our industrial processes. In this context, you will work closely with project teams across the organisation and have your daily routines in the production areas.
In addition, you may occasionally be sent on environmental inspections at global suppliers in close cooperation with our global auditor corps, which is why we expect you to have some international experience.
You will be anchored in QHSE & Sustainability and work closely with our QHSE team, but will also be primary daily support for our Operations department

As part of the team, we expect you to:

  • Have a background as an experienced environmental engineer, environmental technician or similar relevant academic or technical education, possibly supplemented with a master's degree in environmental management
  • Have extensive experience with Danish industrial environmental and chemical legislation, including “Godkendelsesbekendtgørelsen” and “Værkstedsbekendtgørelsen”
  • Have experience working in certified QHSE management systems, especially ISO14001, possibly supplemented with auditor experience
  • Feel at home in the production environment as well as in the office environment
  • Have experience from the heavy industry and are familiar with the specific environmental risks within the area
  • Have general user experience with MS Office and data management
  • Speak and write fluent Danish and English

Workplace and travel activity

Your focus will be on our three factories in Denmark – Aalborg, Lindø (Port of Odense) and Esbjerg, with fixed workplace at our factory in Aalborg or Lindø. You will be expected to spend at least two days every two weeks at one of the other two factories. In addition, there may occasionally be travel activity.
