Bladt Industries appreciates the confidence shown by Ørsted (previously DONG Energy) in placing the manufacturing of the additional TPs at the yard in Aalborg.
In total, Bladt Industries has now contracted 124 TPs on Hornsea Project One of which Bladt Industries currently fabricates 68 in Aalborg, Denmark. The remaining 56 TPs are subcontrated to EEW Offshore Structures Britain (EEW OSB) in the UK, of which EEW SPC recently acquired full ownership. The fabrication of the Hornsea TPs at EEW OSB will continue unchanged.
Bladt Industries continues to focus on UK projects, and will remain a strong strategic player in the offshore foundations market with a continued strong focus on the UK market and is currently working to optimise the future local UK content offerings.
