The assembly work at Køge Nord Station is in the next phase as two sections out of a total of six sections in the past weekend were mounted over Denmark's busiest highway, Køge Bugt Motorvej. The assembly of the first section took place in November 2017.
The weekend's assembly took place over the northbound track of the motorway and the next stage is the assembly of the last three sections, which are expected to take place at the end of August. Two of these sections will be mounted over the south-facing part of the motorway.
"We work with large constructions and one of our most important tasks, apart from the manufacturing itself, is the planning down to the minor details, to ensure a minimum of inconvenience for the surroundings," says department manager Søren Nielsen, Bladt Industries.
