Project Planner - Foundations

About Bladt: 
Bladt Industries is an international steel contractor specialized in high complexity large-scale steel structures. We operate within three key business areas, namely providing steel solutions to the wind and renewable energy sector, to the oil and gas industry and to large infrastructure projects. We have recently entered into a joint venture in Taiwan with the intention of becoming a major player in the upcoming Asian and Taiwanese offshore wind business market. Our Foundations division delivers foundations to the offshore wind industry. 

Your working day
Your duties are of essential importance to secure the on time delivery of our projects.

Your duties will be very much characterized by your drive and proactive approach and include as follows:

Operational:

  • Establish and maintain Time Schedules in Primavera
  • Support the SPMs in developing Time Schedules
  • Collect progress data from stakeholders, update the Time Schedules accordingly
  • Communicate and report progress performance and forecast on a regular basis
  • Control Time Schedules and perform schedule analysis including
    • Scenario analysis
    • Milestone tracking
    • Critical Path analysis
    • Float analysis
  • Provide the SPMs with information about actual/potential delays to enable initiation of mitigating actions in due time
  • Participate in Sub-contractor meetings regarding planning if necessary
  • Assist the SPMs in reporting to their customers
  • Participate in meetings regarding planning with the customers, when requested
  • Prepare reports on a regular basis to provide the Vice President with a cross-project (Portfolio) overview
  • Support with sub-contractor capacity coordination
  • Participate in project meetings
  • Update stakeholders on critical changes of deliveries


Tactical:

  • Establish and develop a policy for Planning in the Foundation Division, in close cooperation with the Vice President.
  • Establish processes to ensure a uniform Planning set-up across the projects, in order to facilitate cross-project (Portfolio) analysis.
  • Assist Sub-contractors to obtain a Planning set-up that supports the planning on Projects in the Foundation Division. 

Support the implementation of "lessons learned" from previous projects, to improve planning on future projects.

Strategical:

  • Provide input to the Vice President regarding development and improvement of the Planning set-up.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and drive Time Management in compliance with policy and agreed processes
  • Support the Project Organization in developing Time schedules
  • Secure coordination and alignment between the Production planning and the Project Time Schedules
  • Secure coordination and alignment between Sub-contractors planning and the Project Time Schedules
  • Control/maintain Time Schedules and perform schedule analysis
  • Communicate and report progress performance and forecast on a regular basis

 

Competencies:

  • Competence equivalent to PMI-SP (PMI Scheduling Professional)
  • Relevant work experience within wind and/or construction
  • Recommended minimum 5 years of experience from a similar position.
  • Recommended minimum 5 years of experience with Primavera P6 Professional.
  • Systematic and structured.
  • Ability to work independently, but indeed also a team player with good communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
