Anders Søe-Jensen steps down as Chief Executive Officer of Bladt Industries
The Board of Directors behind Bladt Industries A/S and Anders Søe-Jensen have mutually agreed that Anders Søe-Jensen will step down from his position as Chief Executive Officer.
To ensure continuity, Chief Financial Officer Michael Glavind will, in addition to his current role, take on the responsibility of Chief Executive Officer as of today and until we have a new permanent solution in place.
“Throughout his almost three years at Bladt, Anders has among other things ensured a full order book for the coming two years and launched a number of internal improvement projects, including the establishment of a new executive management team. We now need a new focus and have therefore decided to make a change of Chief Executive Officer and I look forward to announcing, as soon as possible, who will take over on a permanent basis. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Anders and wish him all the best in his future endeavors, states Chairman of the Board Bjarne Moltke Hansen.
“Building on the foundation created, my focus will now be on the further improvement of the overall operational and financial performance of the company. I will continue the strategic direction set in order to take Bladt further to truly leverage the promising market that offshore wind represents.”

Bladt Industries in research project to develop a mobile robotic welding crane

There will still be a need for skilled blacksmiths and welders in the future, but we won't quite reach our goal without automation, says Nis Hansen, lead welding engineer at Bladt Industries.
